TalkTalk most complained about broadband provider | Latest - BCS

TalkTalk has been named as the most complained about provider of fixed broadband internet services in a new report by communications regulator Ofcom.

The data shows that the company generated 0.42 complaints from every 1,000 customers in the second quarter of the year.

By contrast, Sky, which was the least complained about provider, generated 0.10 for every 1,000 customers during the three month period.

Most of the complaints made about TalkTalk related to line faults and other service issues.

It was also the landline telephony company that generated the most gripes from customers, with 0.53 for every 1,000. Again Sky generated the least.

However, in both cases the level of complaints is the lowest is has been since the fourth quarter of 2010 when Ofcom began gathering its data.

Figures were also released regarding complaints about pay monthly mobile telephony services and pay TV services, with Three UK and BT topping those polls respectively.
