That being said, there?s nothing wrong with a parent sitting down with their child regularly and occasionally pushing them in the right direction. It keeps kids on track, helps their grades, and also shows them that it?s okay to ask for help, something that will remain vitally important throughout life. Tutors: Sometimes, good study skills and parental involvement aren?t enough for a child to learn. In this case, it can be good to bring in a tutor, even if it?s just a high school or college student. Particularly as kids grow and get into more complicated subject matter, a good tutor can offer expertise a parent might not have.
